Songs We Play

While many like to hear the traditional in wedding music, Our belief is that it is O.K. to take chances! Not every wedding party is the same, and everyone has a different musical taste.

We try to mix it up and play various styles, everything from swing and jazz, big band, which has become immensely popular again due to the likes of Harry Connick Jr., The Brian Setzer Orchestra, Natalie Cole, The Cherry Popping Daddies, and of course the original artists themselves, GLen Miller, Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, and Frank Sinatra.

We also try to stay current, but resist the overly "Trendy" songs that you have heard too many times.

We reach back into the 70's for Funk and Soul, Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind and Fire, Aretha franklin, and Barry White.

And now of course the 80's are popular again, as well as tried and true older and newer songs, everything from Fleetwood Mac, Santana, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Van Morrison, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, Lenny Kravitz, Norah jones, No Doubt, and More.

We really strive to tailor the music for your event to your particular favorites, while keeping a close eye on what the crowd responds to.

If you don't see a particular song on our list, just ask, we will probably know it or would be willing to learn it!

The list is divided into several categories:

Dance music includes all types of Rock & Roll, Alternative and Classic Rock, 80's and 90's! It also includes Top 40 which generally means anything current.

There is also Motown, Soul, Reggae, 50's, 60's and the ever popular 70's.

Big Band, Swing and Jazz features some of the greatest music ever written.

Don't forget the Ballads and Dinner music, some are perfect for special dances while others just for listening...
